Insurance As a member of the B.A.R. we MUST carry COMPREHENSIVE insurance as a company. You can rest assured that with us, your goods and effects will receive the very best of care and attention. Because of the changes in the Insurance regulations on January 14Th 2005, we will no longer sell you insurance! The approach we, and the MAJORITY of our fellow movers in Southern England have taken, is to take on responsibility and liability for your goods, which fills the void left by the removal of the insurance cover. This is of course subject to certain exclusions, all of which are covered in our 'plain English' contract terms. This also means that unlike many insurances, there will be no excess payable by you in the event of a loss.
Part or return loads - Ideal for small loads / single items, or people on a budget where economy not time, is important. We pick up and deliver using a vehicle already in use in your area, saving you time and money. This service is available and operates, throughout mainland Europe.
Antiques or special items - Purvers have been in the removal Business for a very long time, during which we have become very experienced in the intricacies of moving house. We are very experienced in moving fine art, antiques, Grandfather clocks, Pianos Etc. Our own skilled case-making and crating department combined with the packing and storage techniques we have developed ensure maximum protection for valuable, fragile or awkwardly shaped artefacts.
Crate or Case-making. - We have our own 'in house' Crate & Case-making workshops. Here we can manufacture wooden cases and crates for almost any item. From a single ornament to a Grandfather clock, Piano, dining table or even a Motorcycle!. We have a range of foam linings, vacuum seal bags, desiccants, 'tilt and tell' markers. All you need to do is show us the item and we'll do the rest.
A Helping Hand - For a move to be successful and trouble-free, it has to be planned right down to the last detail. We can advise you at every stage of the process to ensure that your move goes through as easily as possible.
