Business relocation - Being a bonafide business ourself and having moved our entire office and warehouse complex in 2000, we understand the planning and upheaval (not to mention the cost) of relocating a business. Having been very active in the commercial moving market since the 1980s, we are very experienced in the art of moving a business. We move small family firms to blue chip multinationals, Government / M.o.D departments in both the UK and worldwide and all of our staff are security cleared by M.o.D. .
Portfolio - We have moved companies of all kinds, Engineering, Marine works, Pharmaceuticals, Laboratories, Schools, Libraries Etc. We have compiled an impressive Port folio over the years including ; GEC, Marconi, American Home Products, MoD, HM Naval Bases, Kenwood, Proctor and Gamble, Camel Laird , Vosper Thornycroft and the Office of National Statistics to name a few.
Office moving 'Skips'. We carry a large stock of our own office moving skips and computer moving skips for the packing of the smaller effects. We also carry a large stock of cartons should you wish to leave some of the stock boxed on delivery. We make every effort to ensure our customers are 'back to business' as quickly as possible, with the minimum of disruption or fuss.
Special Commercial Services - For us, every move is a special move - but we recognise that some clients need extra specialist services, to deal with fragile, heavy or high-tech equipment, for example.
Hi-Tec. and other fragile items - We are well known for our care and treatment of such goods. Our own skilled case-making and crating department combined with the packing and storage techniques we have developed ensure maximum protection for valuable, fragile or awkwardly shaped items.
Specialised vehicles - We have a large varied fleet of vehicles from 'Transit' size vehicles, to box bodied rigid and articulated vehicles. We have air-ride suspension, tail lifted vehicles on fleet. We can also provide 'Hi-Ab', air ride, cranes and other specialised transport. Vehicle selection is very important in planning successful relocation and we can take care if it for you..
Internal Moves - We can supply an organised team of removal experts to deal with the occasion when you are moving equipment or staff from one floor to another, or to another building nearby. The job may not need a vehicle, but we will cost the job, quote and plan, in exactly the same way to ensure your 'internal' move goes as smoothly as an 'external' one. We will produce all the necessary risk assessments and method statements as required.
Heavy loads - We have access to specialised heavy lifting gear, cranes and specialist manpower. This makes light work of weighty items such as industrial plant, safes and machinery.
Modern systems & furniture - We have contract joiners, Cabinet makers, fitters and electricians available who are skilled at dismantling and assembling a varied array of equipment.
Computers - We offer a full packing service of your IT. Equipment. Working with one of the areas leading IT. consultants, we can arrange a complete and co-ordinated IT. relocation for your company. Upgrading of existing equipment (software and /or hardware) can also be timed to take place during the move. We carry a stock of purpose made 'computer skips' for the safe transit of your precious IT equipment.
Skilled staff.. - Hire our skilled staff by the day or half day (subject to notice and availability) for external or internal moves working under the direction of your own supervisors. Many staff have been accredited by The Movers' Institute (TMI), run by the British Association of Removers (BAR).
